When our National Yahoo group was deciding and working together on what our website should look like and contain it emerged that our members would like to be able to contact other home educators in their area. Although we have groups for this not everyone has the time or willingness to be on line all of the time.
We are therefore going to build up a contact list of Home Educators wishing to be contacted by others and issue this list to our THEN UK Members only (Paid up Members), the list will be made up of those who have expressively signed up to be a part of it by using our submission form below.
Please Note: Joining any of our groups or joining us as a paid up member does not mean you are listed, your information submitted stays for general use of running a membership. Your details will NEVER be passed on to anyone requesting them. ANY HOME EDUCATOR can submit their details for wishing to be on the list but you will not receive a copy of the listing unless you are a paid up member of THEN UK.
When completing the form to the left:
1. Please note that all the details you submit on that form come direct to the admin team at THEN UK.
2. Only part with the information you feel comfortable in parting with.
3. If you make a mistake after submission E-Mail admin@thenuk.com and we will help you sort it out.

Why the information listed?
Surname and First Name - Helps the person contacting you to know they have the right person, certainly helps when sending Royal Mail or searching for someone on social networks. If you wish to leave off your surname in Full and just use your First name then do so.
Preferred Method - If you prefer E-Mail for example you don’t need to part with the rest of the information required. Simply pick which method you prefer and complete the appropriate details. Your choices are: E-Mail, Telephone, Royal Mail, Via THEN UK and Messenger.
Via THEN UK - We realise some might not be comfortable sharing their information on a list of any sort and are prepared to act as go between if this suits you. Simply complete your details and choose ‘Via THEN UK’, your details will be put on a data base at our end and should anyone join the list in your area you will be contacted by us as will they. We will then discuss with you what information to pass on, an E-Mail address should get you started and you can share your own information from there.
The council you come under - For whatever reason not everyone wishes to part with an address, however you could part with the Council you come under. For example: If you come under Lancashire. You could be listed in our Contact List as:
Julie B, Lancashire E-Mail: for@example.com
Address - only part with it if you would like it listed on our contact list that will be available to Paid Up Members of THEN UK only.
Messenger etc - It might suit you to part with an ID only for e mail contact, that’s fine, you will be listed as:
Lancashire - Julie B, snail_2010@yahoo.co.uk
Anything you would like to add - We have obviously not thought of everything for this contact list, you might wish to be listed another way or include another ID from somewhere. Use this space to tell us.
