Hi - I’m Kris and have been married to George for almost 18 years, we have four sons, three are home educated. My eldest is entering college next year (2009).
The boys have all had different learning styles and needs, one is gifted, the others all have SEN’s or disabilities. I have worked in schools as learning support and as a teaching assistant. I have also worked with adults with learning difficulties.
I am also a Foster Carer. I believe that children should be encouraged and supported to learn in a secure environment and enabled to achieve their goals as far as possible, whatever they are. I am a volunteer worker in my son’s Special School where I am the Arts Advisor.
Working with children is a full time commitment, and a role I thoroughly enjoy. I would like to offer my support and encouragement to others to enable them to allow their children the choices and opportunities that are available to us all.
